If the medication I am taking for my ADD/ADHD is only somewhat helpful, what should I do next?
Make sure that the medication you are taking is at the maximum tolerated dose for you. If it is, consider adding in another medication or changing to another medication. Do not live for months with ineffective medication treatment. All ADD/ADHD medications (including antidepressants) are effective within days of starting treatment.
